New Mosaic Wall Cross

I just listed this Stained Glass Mosaic Wall Cross. It's 8" Tall and 5" Wide, perfect for small spaces. This is a wooden cross that is adorned with tiny pieces of stained glass, hand-cut by me.  I used purple, pink, and white stained glass. Just the right colors for Spring!

This Mosaic Cross has hardware already on the back for hanging. It would make a special, unique gift for someone special this Spring!

I am working on another Mosaic Cross now in shades of green.  It just needs to be grouted. So stay tuned, it should be listed this week.

It's time to grout!

My Little Bird Mosaic Wall Hanging is ready to be grouted.  

After letting the adhesive dry or cure for a few days, this mosaic is ready for grout.

              Here it is covered in grout.  You have to make sure you cover everywhere, even all the tiny spaces in between the glass.  Also making sure the edges are just right.

           Then, let the grout dry just a bit (5 - 10 minutes), and with a clean, soft, damp sponge, gently wipe off excess grout.  Just one direction at a time and clean the sponge after.

                                                            And it's finished!

           I usually have to come back two or three time with a clean damp sponge and wipe off the haze.

Mosaic Jewelry - Wearable Art

I actually made these Mosaic Pendants back in September, but was not able to get them listed. They sat and sat, until finally I was able to grout and seal them.  I love the pink and green together.

2014 - A New Start

Hello!

It feels great to have my Etsy Shop reopened! I'm making time for myself to mosaic and really loving it!

Everyone should make time for art, or whatever their passion is.
